Great quality, form-fitting

To replace my 15 year-old ski pants (par for the course when you're in a poor-paying profession), I settled on these after a few days of recon. Peak Performance certainly delivered on the quality aspect. The ski pants were well-made, with excellent stitching, thin-yet-warm insulation, and great aesthetics.

Only one problem: they are snug.

I'm sure this would be just fine if I wanted to show off my booty on the groomed slopes, but I'm a hardcore backcountry skier who expects to spend more than half my time climbing *UP* the slope. These look like they would chafe or restrict my range of motion when engaged in heavy activity. With some regret, I decided to send them back. (Seems like tightly-fitted clothing is a de facto requirement for women's athletic sizing, no?)

I would recommend these for someone who doesn't mind not being able to lift their knee up to their chest while wearing snow pants. I'm sure they are quite warm, and they do look snappy.

For the record: 5'8" –– 160 lbs –– athletic build.
