Warm and waterproof
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Babikins from Montana on Thursday, December 21, 2017
I got this for the Montana snow season and it has been great. I keep warm in the snow and the hood adjusts to stay off my face. I like the cuffs that slip over my thumb to keep snow from getting in through the sleeves. Zipper is a little sticky, but good and sturdy. A little large in the fit, but go... Read More

  • Did not like it
Reviewed by Aida Dan from NC on Wednesday, February 28, 2018
I bought this jacket because of all the positive reviews.. But I was surprised how much I did not like the jacket. the material is stiff and produces noise when I walked in it. Not flattering at all, and not that good quality of supposedly $400 jacket.
  • Great coat at a super price!

Got the coat at over 70% off. That undoubtedly colors my evaluation. At that price, it's the perfect winter coat for walking the dog and running errands. I'm warm down to about 15 Fahrenheit if I'm walking.

Coat is sized very large. I'm 5'10" and the small fit with room for extra layers.
  • Warm and right length but sleeves too tight
Verified Buyer Reviewed by esylvie from IL on Sunday, February 4, 2018
The jacket is warm and is the right length for a winter (not a long coat but still covers hips fully). Sadly, had to return it bc the sleeves were too tight.
  • Nice coat, returned though
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Emily from Massachusetts on Monday, January 29, 2018
The coat that came in the mail was VERY nice - comfortable, warm, the added loop-hole on the sleeve was great. However, I ordered a medium because of the size chart and it just overall looked/felt too big (I am 5'6 and about 155 lbs). It was very boxy, almost like I was wearing a sleeping bag. Not sure if this was the style or if I should have just gotten a small. (And I know that most winter coats are not glamorous, but it just wasn't for me :) ). I Was a little disappointed, as I wanted to love the coat, but it was the best choice to return it. Still was of very good quality though and I think would have been good in a wet New England Winter! Maybe ere on the smaller side, though.
  • Warm and sharp
Reviewed by TD from OH on Saturday, January 27, 2018
I am very happy with this parka. I am always cold and wanted a very warm coat that looks sharp. I couldn’t decide between down or insulated non down. This coat is warm and has room to layer if needed. Down is probably a little warmer, but the long length and ability to layer made it a great choice for even temps in single digits. It has a nice draw string cord inside to give it a more fitted look. I usually wear a small and this one has extra room. It’s very sharp for casual around town winter activity.

    • I just bought this in large because I like to layer it is really large. I think a medium would be adequate for layering. I am 5 6", 140. Have long arms and this is plenty long. It does have adjustable waist and bottom and the zipper is metal heavy duty. It does have snap closure over the zipper not velcroe

About Peak Performance

The Peak Performance clothing brand was created in 1986 by four Swedish skiers with a shared vision. From the beginning, the goal behind all Peak Performance ski apparel has been to design quality, stylish, high-performance products that aren’t flashy or over the top. During a time when neon colors and ostentatious patterns were all the rage on ski slopes, Peak Performance was getting back to the roots of what made great ski apparel. As fashion trends shifted and technology advanced in the 1990s, Peak had already established itself as a premier European skiwear brand. In the years since, Peak Performance of Sweden has continued to push innovation and has even expanded into cycling, running and golf apparel.
