I'm wearing them as I write! Just the right amount of wool to wick away moisture. Merino wool is soft and does not scratch.
Very comfortable! Excellent value

I picked these up for my wife since she's finally coming around to my way of thinking about merino wool. I wear merino socks every day, in fact I threw out all my old cotton socks because they're inferior. This pair is nice and light though not quite what I'd call ultralight. They hold their shape well throughout the day and they wash well too. I think you could do a lot worse, particularly at the super low STP price.

the amount of wool in this product is only 38% but hopefully they will still perform well - wick away sweat and last through many washes

Haven't had a chance to wear during camping but I did wash & try them on. Fits great, no extra room in sock to bundle up & cause discomfort in shoes. Think they will be great for camping.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
