Nice shoe covers, but be careful of PI sizes.

I ordered these in size L for my size 9½ MTB shoes (M Shoe Size 8½-10) and they were way too small. Then I noticed in the PI description of this product:

Read the reviews that they ran small so ordered the large. Still way too small. Did not have XL in stock so not able to exchange. Disappointing as purported to be made for mountain bike cycling shoes but very, very narrow and certainly not long enough. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 W and could not latch them in the back.
  • Way too small

Did they ever try these on real shoes ?
I'm a size nine and the XL barely fit on them.
    Returned.

In fact, I have PI X-Alp MTB shoes (from STP) so I ordered another pair of covers in size XL. It's funny because I normally wear size 9 shoes, so both the shoes and the covers are strangely sized.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
