I use it for everyday road trips on my bike under baggy pants. Really comfortable.

Nice fit and the lightest material gear I have. Felt to light when I first got them and I was worried about durability but they have held up fine. Big 1 star drop because the chamois is just a thin piece of foam that compresses to nothing. I like a hard seat (Pro Falcon AF Carbon) and never really thought the chamois did much but after an hour in the saddle these feel like nothings there at all. But again for the 4 mile commute to work in the 80 degree sun they are perfect. And yeah I wear them alone with a sleeveless jersey and never really feel to naked. But for short rides.

These are great for wearing under your MTB shorts. The suspenders hold the liner up when the shorts are trying to push them down. With regular lycra bike shorts I find that when wearing baggy shorts like the Fox Ranger Cargo shorts (my favorite), the baggy shorts tend to push the lycra shorts down. it is annoying have to readjust your shorts every now and then. The suspenders make all the difference in the world. This model bib has a nice liner in it. The quality is good. The materials are breathable and cool.

I have always used Bibs for my road rides. My mountain bike clothing had traditional shorts that never seems to stay up and had a useless pad driving me crazy. Adding the Pearl Izumi bibs made all the difference. I have trusted this brand for a long time and they did not let me down. Definitely improved my ride comfort and they stay up !

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
