Nice looking but ultimately I returned...just too short in the front.

The pink color was not good- it was a rose pink and sort of "old" looking. The quality was also not what I expect from PZ's PRO line. It fit fine but I hated the color and the overall quality was just average.

I liked this jersey even thought it's not as colorful as most. I had to go up a size though. At 5'7" and 34D bust, I needed a jersey with a little more room. The Medium was just too tight overall. I usually take a Medium so I'd go up a size.

I would have scored this product higher except that the fabric wrapped end to the sipper chafed my abdomen (especially when I breathed) and left an abrasion on the skin. It was a little roomier than similar Pearl Izumi vests but still comfortable and cool enough for the Florida heat and humidity. The back pocket design is a bit odd with the side access; these would have been better as top entry pockets. I'd only recommend it if you want to fix the zipper bottom yourself.

    • Pearl Izumi jerseys run true to size. Jerseys are meant to fit close.

    • Because it is from the professional line, it is styled to be form fitting. I tried this one on in the store and recognized that sizing up for a looser fit would not work for me because the proportions would be off (too long and too wide in the shoulders). If you are worried about a snug fit, I'd say pick a different jersey with a more forgiving cut (Shebeest). However, this is quite possibly the smoothest, lightest and least itchy fabric I've experienced on a jersey and for that reason, I would recommend it.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
