Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jeannie T from Northeast PA on Tuesday, March 31, 2015Sadly, quality of Pearl Izumi P.R.O. line for women going down hill since bought my first pair (Fall 2008 Season). Padding is still great, but quality of materials and finish is lacking compared to my old Pearls or my husband's current P.R.O. shorts and bibs for Men. Sizing has also changed. Used to be a Large and now X-Large (No it's not me - still same size 12 as before!). Always splurge on high end shorts with good padding, but going to have to try some of the other brands like Giordano, Craft, etc. in the future. These shorts are great if you can get them under $50-$60 for the padding alone. If not, pass on them.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lynn from nyc on Tuesday, May 20, 2014Could make one look a little hippy.
THe mediums fit well on 125 lbs, 5'4".
Chamois pretty standard.
I like that you don't get a line at the edge of the pant leg; its less grippy from a seam down.
It's nice aesthetic and works for comfort too.
Reviewed by Brandyjane1947 from Utah on Thursday, May 15, 2014I bought these and wore them one time and they were awful for my body! I have older pro shorts that are awesome but these were not for me. They are going back! Thank God for Sierras excellent return policy. I am now on a hunt for womens Symphony Shorts (Nov 2012) Spring 2013. I wear a 2X or an XL if that helps someone in making a deceision
Reviewed by Smiles for miles from new mexico on Tuesday, August 13, 2013these shorts go the distance. i've worn them for long hours of technical mtbr and i find they make a positive difference in how i feel on the saddle. plus i ride in heat and they seem to stay cooler than other shorts. i didn't love the pattern and the predominate white when i purchased, but like it well enough now and the white is holding up in the wash. i'm 5.3, 115lbs and the SMALL fits like a glove.
