This is a beautiful tri suit, with an additional separate bra, nice feature. The aquazero fabric is very cool, but not as stretchy as a typical suit, almost like a very light weight wetsuit. I'm a pear-shaped 5'4", 128 lbs, could barely get the medium over my hips, so sadly, I have to return it. The thigh elastic is also VERY constricting, but might be fine for a more petite racer. I sooooo wish this suit fit me better. No larger sizes in stock, and the price more than doubled since I purchased it anyway. :(

I tried other Pearl Izumi suits and they ran very small. This one was true to size, except the bands around the legs were extremely tight. I was going to try it out and see if they would loosen some, but I did not want to be out all that money if it didn't work.

    I am 5'5", 145 pounds, 34B and I ordered a size large.

If you tend to have smaller legs as genetics rules, then go ahead and try this suit.

I was disappointed because I really wanted to like it.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
