I never received this product - perhaps it was delivered to the wrong porch. Just tried to call Customer Service and waited 10 minutes on hold - then hung up. frustrating.

I'll admit here that I am not usually a Pearl Izumi buyer but I thought I'd give them another try. I did not like these, primarily due to the pad construction. I'm on a split nose COBB seat and the padding would not work with the saddle- it was thick in the MIDDLE where you don't really want that much padding, and very little on the outskirts of the pad zone, where you DO want padding- on the bones! The short material seemed okay, a little dense maybe.

Ordered a small, my usual size. Seemed to be a reasonable fit, snug overall but they'd probably stretch just fine. Since I can't return them after a "try" I decided they probably would be pretty uncomfortable and returned.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
