Light , great feel clipped in, super price . 41 fits snug on my 7.5 feet but after riding a couple hrs it has become very comfortable.

Seem to be very nice shoes. Stiff sole, probably comfortable to walk and ride in. However, I have low volume feet (apparently) and couldn't get them to work. I am a 10.5 to 11 and my feet are slightly wide. I tried the size 45 and the toes on my left foot, which (ironically) normally ends up being a bit smaller than my right), hit the front. And I was right at the end of the cam adjustment. Moving up the 46s, I was at the end of the cam adjustment and still had too much heel movement in the shoes. The cams can be repositioned, but only for fatter feet than the default. I need them to go the other direction. These will need to go back.

Love them for mtb and road biking. Stiff, comfortable, and easy to adjust. Great price point too. I like how much easier and safer they are to walk in than road shoes alone. Could be lighter.

The PI X-Project 3.0 is a sophisticated bicycling shoe with a light but very stiff sole. I have a low volume foot and the
ratchet would not allow me to make the shoe bike tight. It even had an adjustment for even higher volume feet so these
are great for people with unusually high insteps but useless for low volume types. I find this same problem with Shimano
shoes but to a lesser extent. Specialized shoes (especially the BOA styles)solve the problem nicely for me, as well as Lake BOA styles, and Sidi's have a beautifully designed ratchet strap that is customizable for any volume feet. I wish PI would make a ratchet strap that was more adjustable for a wider range of foot volume but they seem to not understand their inability to meet the needs of low volume feet.

Looks out of the box were sharp yet subtle, with the red trim standing out just enough.

Putting them on was a bit of a shocker at first as they are like a glove. Then I remembered my last shoes were 9 years old so they were super-broken-in (and broken as well). The ratchet system makes it even more snug. Speaking of the ratchet, the release design is superb as you have to lift to release which prevents an unwanted release when you bump it.

The ride they provide keeps the emphasis on my thighs rather than joints. This is probably due to the stiffness which makes the foot and leg feel more connected.

Overall, other than being yet another Chinese-made product, these shoes are well worth the purchase price.
