It is the light module that works fine for awhile but eventually fails after a very few hours of runtime (1-2). After resting for awhile it will start-up again but fails repeatedly after only a few minutes. I have had many other Pelican lights that all worked well, but these are a complete failure. I'm sure that many of the positive posts had their lights fail eventually as well. STP customer service, as always, has been terrific in trying to get me a light that works but after 3 tries I've given up and requested a refund.

I bought it for my wife to carry in the mornings going back and forth to car. It seems to be well built and durable. I have dropped it twice now on hard floor and it still works as new. It is a little long for pocket use.. at least shirt pocket use. It might be fine for jeans pocket, but have not tried it myself. It is plenty bright for what we use it for. Nice, bright little light.
