Gave this only 4 stars because I usually wear a size 6 overall and had to order up for a fit in this jacket....after following the advice in some other reviews, I ordered a size 10 and fit me to my liking--a little roomy, yet neat looking. The fabric has a beautiful feel--it retains its shape well, yet is soft and luxurious to the touch. I love the 3/4 sleeves, as full-length sleeves are often too long for my arms. The colors work well with beige-y neutrals and white, possibly blue. The classic lines add to an enduring style that will surely outlast a lifetime of wear. Thanks, STP, for a great addition to my wardrobe at a great savings!

This looked just the kind of summer jacket I wanted, so I ordered my usual size, 8. It fit me like a 4 or skimpy 6, but the shape was nice and the fabric linen-lovely, so I exchanged for a 10. It came . . .and fit EXACTLY like the 8! So I called customer service and they were great and I exchanged again for a 12. . . which came and was STILL tight in the shoulders (no, I don't lift weights!) I sent it back and gave up. If you're a twig, it might work, or try three or four sizes larger than you are!

I like the subtle summer colors - it mixes and matches well for my work wardrobe. Nice weight without being heavy, and the shorter sleeves are good on my short arms.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
