This coat is high quality, not bulky, and made for cold weather. I've been searching for a coat of this quality for some time now, and am happy I found at STP at such a good deal! I wear size 14-16, and ordered the XL and it fits good, although arms are kind of snug, overall good fit.

The red is flat-out gorgeous and the lining is the traditional Pendleton blanket stripes. But the coat itself is rather stiff--it's hard to get the collar to lie flat as it is in the picture--and the zipper is a little balky. I am keeping it because the red is so beautiful and I am hoping that everything else gets broken in nicely.

I love this coat. It’s the perfect compromise between a parka and a dressier wool coat. Fits and feels well. I first ordered the large and it was much too big so returned it for medium which was perfect. I’m usually a size 10 or 12. Pairs nicely with jeans and leggings. Looking forward to wearing it for the first time this weekend going to Montreal CA.

I loved this coat, the color is a beautiful red. I also loved the mid-thigh length, extra warmth. The lining is very pretty. However, it just didn't fit me well. The picture shows the collar laying flat but when zipped it is a stand up. Good for someone with a longer neck than I have. I had to send it back.

The WOOL and the LINING and overall CRAFTSMANSHIP are the expected PENDLETON quality. The ZIPPER was PROBLEMATIC. It took me 8-10 tries to get the ZIPPER to engage and zip up to the top. I even tried not wearing the coat and still had problems over and over. Had to RETURN. Beware!! The COAT is beautiful, but be sure to check the ZIPPER multiple times to assure its functionality.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
