Well made, love the knit - it's not too heavy but has great body. I'm allergic to wool and can wear this - I usually can't tolerate any amount a wool in a sweater. It's stylish, comfortable and flattering. I like this shade of navy, goes well with jeans. This is one of those great pieces that ... Read More

Loved the feel of this sweater but I sent it back because it was shapeless. I almost kept it because the feel of the material is so comfortable I thought maybe I could wear it as a dress with tights but it is like a men's baggy sweater for $40 , so back.

I love Pendleton wool garments and as they are usually pretty expensive, I'm always happy when I find them on STP for less! I ordered this sweater in all three colors available and I am very pleased with the quality, fit and style. I am 5'4" and on me the fit and length is pretty similar to that shown on the model--roomy with no gapping when I button it up, and maybe a bit longer (not just below the hips as suggested in the product description--considerably below) so it also should be fine for taller women, and while not exactly shapeless, it is definitely not form-fitting, so if someone wants to accentuate their figure, they might want to try a smaller size. This is the first silk/cotton/cashmere (just a touch of that last fabric) item I have tried in this brand, and the material does have a nice soft, hand and drapes well. I think the sweaters are lovely and I'm glad I decided to spring for all 3 colors; didn't want to take a chance of ordering just one and wanting the other ones once they were no longer available...
Look great with jeans as part of a casual outfit, but I think this would go very nicely with dressier outfits, too. I like these sweaters a lot and they will definitely get a lot of wear this fall & winter (and because of the price I don't have to worry about actually wearing them, instead of tucking them away for fear of ruining them and just digging them out once in a while for fancier occasions--yes, I still do this sometimes although it makes no sense to buy things to save & get any use out of them).
Not at all bulky and perfect weight for extra warmth on cool days or in AC (I would want a thicker, heavier wool sweater for frigid weather).

    Good quality.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
