These seemed a lot longer than the inseam specified in the product info, which was good, because I am 5'10". My prior experience with Pendleton is that their pants tend to run small(er), so I ordered up a size and was delighted with the fit and workmanship of the product. The wool is gorgeous, though quite thin. I'd characterize it as summer weight wool. The "olive" in the description is, to me, a nice blend of grey and brown with maybe a touch of green that seems like it will go with nearly any warm color. The unique seams do wonders for the way the pants fit. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

These apparently are seconds and the reason for my individual pair of trousers making it into the seconds pile was a tragic manufacturing accident that left a small slash in the fabric on the front of the pants. It's not cut all of the way through, but about half way through and it's about 1/4' long. When I first unpacked them and tried them on, I did not notice it. Looking at them in the daylight, it at first looked like a small irregularity in the weave, but closer examination showed it was sliced by accident during the sewing process. So sad. I got the last ones in my size and I'm sending them back. Very disappointing!

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
