This AMERICAN-made wonderful skirt is one of the best. I'll take it on a trip next week, for meetings. It looks great, fits perfectly, and I can wear knee-highs with it, for it fits below the knee, and the slits are covered. (I'm 5.4", size 8). It's very classy looking, either with a nice sweater, ... I was stalking STP hoping someone would return my size, and I got lucky.
But after I tried it on, I decided it was too traditional for my current life.
The pleats are sewn and modest, the length hit just below my knees. The fabric is beautiful and the color is classic. If that is what you are looking for, you will fall in love with this skirt. I will be sending mine back, so it you need an 8R, it is your turn to stalk the site.

Perfect for work, can be dressed up for evening.

I bought the matching skirt and blazer, and they are lovely. I am tall, but otherwise a true size 12. The skirt fit perfect, the blazer was snug in the chest, I was able to exchange the 12 for one of the few remaining size 14 blazers, and now have a very classic, very expensive suit good for any season, for a fraction of the price. It looks like it was custom tailored - the lightweight heathered wool is perfect for year-round. I will wear this suit for the rest of my life, probably. What a great value! The blazer has already been a great separate piece several times, and the skirt will also be useful on its own.

For an interview or a big meeting, this will be my go-to choice every time. It's understated and very professional.

This is a timeless garment. It can be dressed up or down depending on other clothing pieces. Tomorrow I plan to wear it with boots and a sweater but it will look lovely with heels and dressy blouse for an evening out. It is very well made and purchased at a great price!

This is a very pretty skirt, structured of a lovely woolen fabric. The fit and the drape are both flattering. Sadly, the lining is of an inferior quality....other than that one flaw, this is a very nice purchase.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
