Quality suede

If you like genuine suede you’ll love the quality of this shirt (dry clean). I wasn’t sure I’d like the whip stitch trim giving a Western theme but not too overpowering. Shirt is best described as blouse length- not jacket length but a shorter overblouse maybe 2” below belt length. Slimming lines ... Read More

  • Great jacket

I love this jacket! The only thing that would make it better would be a very light lining, and maybe a pocket. The cut is very flattering and for the price you can't go wrong.
  • Nice shirt

Pendleton is always a reliable brand. I normally order up a size in Pendleton since I dislike tight clothes.
I am short at 5’1 and tried both Med Pet and a Reg Regular size.
The Pet Large would have been my first choice but that was not an option. the Reg L fit pretty well.

If I roll up a half cuff it is perfect. It is a nice cut and figure flattering. As others stated, it is not lined so it is a casual shirt; not a coat....not sure I would have paid $350.00, the retail price, though.

  • Beautiful color and cut

Love the style and color of this jacket. The suede smell is very strong. Also, the jacket came with some deep creases in it. I am trying to hang them out and air out the smell. I am hoping I will be able to keep as the petite size fits perfectly.
  • NO hand pockets!!! :( :(

I can hardly contain my disappointment in this jacket. NO POCKETS! Boo hoo. I can't handle a leather jacket without pockets for my hands, it's a bit of think for me. The cut is slim, the jacket is NOT lined, love the whipstitch detail and the brass color of the snaps but the pocket issue is too big for me to deal with so it's going back. There is also a fairly strong tanning scent when the jacket is first opened. I'm sure it will go away but it's strong enough that its worth mentioning in a review.
As for fit, I ordered a regular length small and at 130 lbs, 32 D and 5'4" it comes about mid-hip on me (a few inches longer than on the model, I debated about ordering a petite) and there is enough room to layer over a shirt (but probably not comfortably over a sweater).

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
