Love At First Sight

I have a short neck and steer clear of T-necks, but the overall look of this sweater was so lovely I decided to take the risk. I read all of the product reviews, too, and found nothing to change my mind. I ordered the "wine" color to add life to my sweater collection and it is particularly spectacular in that color. I think the large flat buttons go well with the general style of the sweater, too. As short as my neck is, I can button it up all the way w/o looking "strangled". I'm not too fond of it with the top button undone, but it can be worn as a collar if so chosen. There are several intricate patterns covering the sweater making it a delight to "explore". The length is more suitable for skirts than for jeans, in my opinion, but that doesn't stop me from wearing it with casual pants. I prefer to have my tops be no shorter than 25" and this one is a little short of that, but not much. The thick merino wool is soft and squishy like a goose down duvet and I love all 4 of the Glover sweaters I bought. As I've said before, I hope STP begins to carry more styles because my sweater fetish has not yet been satisfied. I've gone 30 years w/o wearing a sweater and I now only wear these 4 as "tops". I don't anything else as warm or as comfortable. And, the deep hue of the wine shade is incredible.
