this sweater is fine I suppose , its not as soft as I hoped , for merino wool , and there are places , where it looks like the machine misses a stitch in 3 or 4 places in the cable knit , so I have to go in and hook up the places they missed ! for all the bragging about 100's of years making wool sweaters , I expected higher quality craftsmanship in the knitting of the sweater. but it is a nice sweater for what I paid at Sierra . I would send it back , had I paid full rice . It is warm , a bit itchy even with a silk undershirt , to me ,( I wear smart wool undershirts all the time ) comfortably . so ya , its ok. I will mend the places needed and think it will be a lifetime sweater . its quite a thick knit .
