4.0 out of 5 stars. Soft Cap, loose knitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Nevada on Wednesday, December 7, 2016As other reviews have said, this is a nice hat, but the weave is just a little too loose for it to be really warm in the super cold weather. It is fine with a hood over top, and definitely comfy overall, but I think I would probably be inclined to wear something that's a little tighter in really cold conditions.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good, med. thicknessVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Newport RI on Tuesday, December 6, 2016Have worn this a few days in chilly weather (maybe about 40+/- F). The hat is warm, not as thick as I thought it would be. The seam where the two ends of the beanie connect to form the circle is a little bulky compared to the rest of material, otherwise works for me

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not very good qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by acureng from Chicago on Thursday, October 27, 2016Bought it thinking it is a quality product. But it is not. The price is cheap. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Peregrine is a big faveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Alfein from SLC, Utah on Tuesday, March 15, 2016Peregrine are great merino wool products. I wished they had lined these with fleece just to make them a bit heavier duty (or even better, include a layer of Thinsulate inside) but they are good, solid wool beanie's. I needed a brown and a green beanie and these fit the bill.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best in Merino WoolVerified Buyer Reviewed by Matt K from Seattle, WA on Thursday, February 25, 2016After searching through every brand and website imaginable, I found this cap from STP for a fraction of what i expected to pay for a 100% merino wool cap (a necessity if you are to stay warm when the cap gets wet). Additionally, it is not thin and ultra-athletic looking like many other outdoor brands' merino wool. The fabric is woven tightly making it resilient to over stretching and snags. Without any branding on the outside of the cap, the product must speak for itself and it truly delivers. Made in England so you feel smart, even if you're the only one who knows.
