Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ronin from Smoke Hole Canyon on Thursday, December 29, 2016I have a fairly large head; I can't wear most large sized hats or helmets.
Regardless, I cannot imagine an adult wearing this helmet. My wife has a normal-sized melon, and it looks like a polyester yarmulke on her head. We gave this to a 9 year old child for a Christmas present, and it fit perfectly.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Justin from Tennessee on Wednesday, November 16, 2016Bought for the wife. It fits her head but not mine. So it does run on the small side.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by PA Climber from PA on Wednesday, June 22, 2016This is a very nice helmet but, it was advertised as "For Men and Women," it was in reality a child's helmet or for an adult with a tiny head. I had to send it back. However, STP has excellent customer service and they took care of it with a full refund! Also, keep in mind this was a Clearance item around 6/2016 so this review may not apply to future products in this make and model.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anthony from NYC on Monday, May 9, 2016I have small head and ordered a size 1. It fits very well but is at the upper end of the adjustment strap limit. For the vast majority of people I would think a size 2 would be better -especially if wearing an insulating layer underneath. I do not have any concerns about the weight and find the helmet to be comfortable and durable. This is an unbeatable value at the price point.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by QNT from Massachusett on Wednesday, May 4, 2016So far, Petzl is still the best choice for climbing equipment. This helmet is light weight, not feather light, but the weight won't give you neck pain after hours of wearing it. Great ventilation. The harness could be adjust to fit just nice. I'm satisfied with this helmet.
