About Pinarello

You may already be familiar with the high performance output of Pinarello road bikes. But you may not know much about the history of Pinarello bikes... Like many devoted cyclists, Giovanni Pinarello began to participate in competitive cycling at the age of 17. By 1947, Pinarello had won over 60 titles as an amateur cyclist and then quickly transitioned into the professional circuit, where he won five professional cycling titles. Pinarello’s dedication to cycling didn’t end with his racing career, however. Pinarello would go on to manufacture some of the best road bikes in the industry. In the 1984 Summer Olympics, U.S. rider Alexi Grewal won gold on a Pinarello bike; less than a decade later, Spanish champion Miguel Indurain would ride a Pinarello road bike to five Tour de France victories, an Olympic medal and multiple world records. When you ride with Pinarello, you are riding a part of history - you are riding the best.
