    I purchased four of these, unfortunately one leaked almost immediately. Unexpected as I have old Platypus products that are still good after many years.

    I had a little trouble opening it initially, there are some grooves on the top that look like you should squeeze them but that's not why they are there. Firmly grip on the center and slide back in the direction of the attachment cord. The tube itself is really easy to detach which I appreciated. I felt like I wasn't getting water as easily as with one that I borrowed recently but that was my only issue.
