Earlier this summer I noticed a white poc axion helmet in the garage with the bike stuff. I assumed it was my wife’s although she never mentioned it. since she usually rides by herself i just assumed she was wearing it. A few weeks after I noticed it as we were headed out for a ride as i loaded the car i got her helmet. When we got to the trail as we were getting ready i handed her the helmet. She laughed and said “my parents got that for me i wore it when i rode with them and forgot about it, did you want me to wear it“ i shrugged and said makes no difference to me. As she was about to put it in the car she said i have it might as well wear it and put it on. She didn’t complain about it during the ride. About 1/2 way through she asked if i wanted to try it on i said sure. With some minor adjustments i was able to get a great fit. During the rest of the ride It actually was very very light and comfortable very well vented and did not feel hot. When we were done as i was taking it off my wife asked what I thought. i told her i liked it and would not be against wearing a helmet. She said she felt naked and a bit unsafe with out it on. So here i am to buy mine. ( i am getting the blue one) Hope to never test it but it honestly feels very safe and substantial
