Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mom's Shopper from Iowa on Monday, December 17, 2012I got these in narrow for my mother, who has long narrow feet. She put them on and they fit perfectly! She was elated! Then - she started to actually wear them...and found the tongue would not stay in place. It kept slipping to the side, making an uncomfortable lump, no matter how tightly she laced the boots to hold the tongue in place. These are going back - bummer.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by fitress from Kelso,WA on Tuesday, October 16, 2012These shoes are good for just wearing around, shopping, running errands, etc.
Reviewed by Shoe Obsessed from Connecticut on Monday, October 15, 2012These are nice looking practical boots with decent arch support. However, they are oddly sized. They are wide in certain areas and narrow in others. It's narrow from top to bottom where your toes are so your toes will tend to hit the top of the shoe when walking. (I ordered the medium width). Oher areas are wide. The leather is a bit stiff. They seem well made overall.
- Best Uses: CASUAL WEAR, Good To Wear With Jeans
- Cons: oddly sized, Stiff
- Pros: Decent leather, Practical, Well Made
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JudyBG from Philadelphia, PA on Thursday, May 17, 2012These are very nice boot-shoes, though the overall effect is slightly on the brogue-schoolmarmish side. They are fairly wide, which is fine for me, as I have never allowed myself to cram my feet into too-narrow shoes, and my natural foot is therefore also fairly wide. If your natural foot is narrow, or you like to be squeezed and pressed, you might not find these suitable. They would be perfect for a trip where you will be walking a lot. They are certainly fine for work, if you are not of the high heels/flats school of thought, but they will not turn anyone's head.
The size is right--I ordered 7 and 1/2 and it's perfect.
- Best Uses: Casual, Walking, Work
- Cons: A touch dowdy
- Pros: Comfortable, Practical, True to size, Well-Constructed
