Ordered this for my boyfriend and he really likes it. Looks great on him :) The quality of the vest is great, it's thick and he says its very warm. Looking forward to wearing it in Colorado.

2nd review on vest By Bob the Builder. Update: There is a thin nylon hood hidden in the collar. It disintegrated when I pulled it out, just to let you know. No big deal to me, I just cut it off. Still a nice warm vest. I'll put a hoodie under it if I need a hood. Some reviews said the collar bothered them. It curled out to the sides just like the picture and out of my way, and no problem here. I don't intend to wear it buttoned up to my chin. I hope this review is helpful.

This one is a winner. Good length ( I'm tall /thin), warm and looks nice .Good price too. The air does not go through the outer wool and the quilted insulated lining makes for a really warm vest. Down like. I could have used this when I was in construction. Move over Carhartt -just kidding, I'm all about Carhartt but his vest is close in the warm department. I'm 6' 2.5" 165 # I got the XL and have room for a med. thick layer under. I Hope this review was helpful !

This is a nicely made and warm vest and I would have given it all five stars save for the design of the collar: Unless you need some extra support holding up your head, the way the stiff collar surrounds your neck makes it less comfortable than it otherwise would be. And because it is rather stiff, the collar cannot be folded down to get around this problem.

This is a great looking vest but runs quite big. I am 5' 9 1/2 and when zipped up, the collar extended up above my chin to the level of my mouth. Had to return but probably a good buy if you have a larger torso than mine or don't zip it up
