The blade is a little tight coming out but will loosen over time-I did have to take my stone to it to get it sharpened to my liken...For the price i would highly recommend and would buy it again. The quality seems good so far!
As far as uses...taking it on hikes or cycling rides--easy enough to store in the waist band of shorts or pack while hiking--or just a great pocket knife -
