My Patagonia untracked hood does not fit over the top, and it's a big hood. I tried the medium, returned it because it was too small and fit too high on the forehead making it UNSAFE; cost me $5.95 just to get a Large in exchange which was too big. I now have to pay more money just to return the Large. I have now spent $8 just to "try on" 2 helmets. Be very careful when ordering as Sierra Trading Post's return policy is atrocious! You are way better off using backcountry.com, or REI, free returns and no hassle!

It's comfortable, very light and the vent system works extremely well. I don't overheat but never get brain freeze and the magnetic clasp is a great feature.
