Don't let all the wires deter you

After shopping at the local large sporting goods store, I got an idea of what I was looking for, then went to Sierra to get it cheaper (of course). The cost ranges for headlamps are broad it seems mostly to do with the lamp and its range of functions. I needed something with a center strap so it would not slip down during running and a range of lighting options. Here it performs excellent on both counts, not tight, just right. The variety of beams: long, broad, flashing for both sighting (or hopefully not sighting) early morning bears and letting occasional cars see me coming. It may be scaring the bears! I recommend it for the casual, five mile in the morning mom who does not like surprises.
  • Best Uses: Running roads and trails
  • Cons: Battery Replacement
  • Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational
  • Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable, Strong beam
  • Was this a gift?: No
