nice little light, but fragile clip to open battery compartment

this is a fine little light. Useful to have the red and white light options. minor complaint: to turn on the white light, one must "cycle through" turning on the red LED first. That is, you hold down the on-button for 2 seconds, it cycles through red, to then turn on white. Must do this every time you turn on the light. Would be nicer to have a hard switch between red and white, so that you could just turn on the white directly. Main complaint: the little plastic "clip" to open the battery compartment is fragile, as another reviewer mentioned. I haven't broken this, but I'm certain this will be the first thing to break on this light. Why not have a more robust, screw-type mechanism, or sliding panel, to open the battery compartment? Or if a clip is the only way, why not make it metal (rather than thin plastic)? That is why I'm giving it 3 stars.
