5.0 out of 5 stars. daily carryVerified Buyer Reviewed by Meritlane from LA, CA on Wednesday, June 13, 2018I've bought a bunch of these. They last a long time. I give them away especially when people get new cars. I put them on their new key.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Ok light, switch is stiffReviewed by WR from New England on Wednesday, April 4, 2018The squeeze-and-hold switch is hard to use for any length of time. If you have arthritis in your hands, you won't like using this light.
The red version doesn't throw very much of a beam; the white version would be better if you want something to light up your pathway. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. great on key chain and for other usesVerified Buyer Reviewed by trailblazer from Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area on Friday, September 24, 2010I purchased several of these to replace the mini, metal flashlights my family used to have on their key chains. I also pass them out to friends before they walk from the campfire to their cars when out on the back 40. I also clip them on the kids and their friends along with a whistle when they are exploring our backwoods property. For this, I like the fact that you have to hold the switch in order to activate the light. It keeps me from having to constantly replace AAA batteries.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Don't bother...Verified Buyer Reviewed by twilightsmith from bay area, Ca. on Sunday, September 5, 2010Don't bother. Yes, red light preserves your night vision.....but this dim beams gives no real functional light. The kind you need to preserve your life. Stick with the white beam version and you will actually have a mini light that will show the trail ahead or help you find that vital dropped piece of gear.
This red beam light is worthless when you need functional, stabilizing your situation, solving your problem light.
I would really hate to think Sierra Trading Post was selling end of shelf life mini lights, and that is why the red beam is so weak!- Best Uses: Car Camping
- Cons: Dim, No Real Useable light
- Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational
- Pros: Durable, Stable
- Was this a gift?: No

4.0 out of 5 stars. Don't leave home without itVerified Buyer Reviewed by yianni from tuxedo park, ny on Wednesday, September 1, 2010The small size makes this great to put on your keychain and forget it till its needed. It puts out a bright wide beam which can save your butt in a pinch. I use it all the time. Only drawback is that there is no switch to keep it on without squeezing it so you can't use it "handsfree."
- Best Uses: Everyday
- Cons: No Beam Adjustment, No onff switch
- Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational
- Pros: Bright, Compact, Long battery life
- Was this a gift?: No
