maybe a little too sophisticatedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Robinwry from colorado on Thursday, November 2, 2017I like that the strap is removable, the lights are bright and adjustable. I'm going to have to learn this lamp's particular system of operation to adjust between its modes. Its not complicated, but its requires some particulars that I'm not used to.
Princeton Tec RemixVerified Buyer Reviewed by Scott from Kansas on Friday, October 20, 2017This headlamp is easy to operate, lightweight, and functional in a variety of settings. Haven't run with it in yet but headband send to hold pretty steady for the things I've done so far. Super easy to pack along for whatever. Shipped quickly, too.
Multiple settingsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Oystress from Washington on Tuesday, May 30, 2017This headlamp is perfect for my needs as a camper and as a shellfish farmer. It gets very bright for nights out on the tide flats, but dim enough to read inside a tent without disturbing my partner. A+ for versatility

Good Headlamp - odd button systemVerified Buyer Reviewed by Duroc Guy from Ohio on Wednesday, January 25, 2017There's not a whole lot to say about a good headlamp, other than just that - it's a good headlamp. Not great, it didn't wow me with it's brightness, but I'd agree that it appears to be 125 lumens. The aim is easy to adjust. I'm not crazy about the button system - you have to hold down the power button to toggle between the not-so-bright and bright settings, which will leave you in the dark (literally) for a few seconds during the transition. I'd also say that not-so-bright setting is pretty dim for my eyes - it may offer some battery savings, but it doesn't help you see much.
Great lamp for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by UtahSkijor from Utah on Wednesday, January 4, 2017I've got a 40 lumen lamp from Black Diamond that is pretty sturdy but not bright enough. The options available are great on this lamp with four available settings. The lower two settings work great for neighborhood runs or walks in the evening. The brighter settings are great on mountain trails for trail runs and cross country skiing. I have NO problems with the on/off switch, unlike the newer concept models that have "touch sensor" technology. Highly recommend sticking with the push button settings!
better than expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by michbritt from Michigan on Friday, December 23, 2016I am an urban hiker that takes my dog on long treks over vast expanses of narrow concrete and asphalt trails. This headlamp is lightweight, but there is nothing lightweight about its light output. This is by far the best headlamp I have used. The normal light is plenty bright in its high position, and the spotlight is more than adequate to see further when needed. The light appears to be bright enough to distract the average driver from texting on their phone as pass by, or maybe it's that I look like a dork walking with the headlamp. Whatever the reason, drivers notice us more and we are safer hiking the concrete expanses of our city.
Does the jobVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hmmokay from Midwest on Tuesday, September 20, 2016I have the older version of this headlamp as well and it has held up well to several years of use. I had an issue with that headlamp and Princeton Tec addressed it fully and promptly. Like the large button and decent output. The design seems simple and rugged, great for general use. Wish it had a red led.
Great little headlamp, however....Reviewed by Hayduke from Black Hills on Monday, September 19, 2016Only changed the batteries a few times on a few of these and the plastic snap closure on the battery cover cracked and broke. I was careful as I had been warned by a buddy about it.
Loved the lamp until I didn't.
Ok headlampVerified Buyer Reviewed by Realrexy from Realrexy on Wednesday, August 31, 2016It's ok. Not the brightest.

“I bought 4 of these headlamps, and no where in the description does it say it has red lights for the ultrabright led's. I recently returned others because the ultra brights were blue. I need to have plain lights. Do you have any in the remix? Ive purchased about 10 in the past from ST and really like them.”
