It's a bit bulky. But works well. I still prefer the alley cat I got from sierra, but this thing can take a hit!

Sad to see a quality German knife company outsource, even though they claim that the blade is made in Germany. I have, and love my old Puma knives, especially their sheath knives. But, these assisted openers, in a tactical style are what folks are buying so Puma provides them. I'm not impressed with it, although it works fine. The knife is very heavy for pocket carry, even with the clip. It's heavy in hand as well, and not well balanced, for me, anyway. I had to adjust the pivot in order to make the action smoother, but that's the case with most assisted openers I've bought lately. I do prefer the flipper to a lot of thumb stud opening knives, since they somehow place the stud in just the wrong place to make opening the knife easy. Still, it's worth the money I paid, and I do like liner locks. Haven't used it yet, so I can't comment on any other factors.

Ordered 2. On one, blade a little loose, but not too bad. Other knife lock would barely engage. Very unsafe! Otherwise, seemed OK.

The blade is solid, quality German steel. It came sharp enough to shave hair off my arm. The rest of the knife is China made, what do you expect for the price?

Action is smooth, opens with a quick flick and is solid. Handle is comfortable to hold. This knife is heavy, but it gives it a quality feel.

blade is well made the rest is trash, i ended up having to drill out and re tap 4 of the screws, make a new spring for the thing and file down the liner lock so it would actually lock. but the blade was in great shape! but for 13 bucks ill machine a new frame and re engineer the spring mechanism

About Puma Knife Company

Johann Wilhelm Lauterjung started forging Puma knives in 1769 just outside Solingen, a city in western Germany that has been a hub of fine German blacksmithing and knife-making for more than 1000 years. Based in Lenexa, Kansas, Puma Knife Company USA has been the North American distributor of Puma knives since 2009. After nearly two and a half centuries, Puma knife blades are still forged in Germany using only the highest-quality steel. In addition, every Puma knife blade is tested by a Rockwell hardness tester before being shipped to the manufacturer to ensure a superior product.
