About Quiksilver

Australian-based Quiksilver is one of the world's largest makers of surf apparel and boardsport equipment. Around since 1970, their success was no accident. Two surfers from the famous Bells Beach area, known for its killer breaks, redesigned the wetsuit specifically for surfing. Their unique wetsuits were such a sensation that they immediately caught on overseas, leading to the founders' several-million-dollar paycheck when they sold the distribution rights in the U.S. just six years later.
