Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Reviewed by Hiker Carly from CA on Wednesday, July 27, 2016The fit was a bit tighter than I expected, but overall I really like this shirt. The odor control seemed to do it's job...wore it 4 or 5 days w/o washing on an alpine trek and it was wearable (especially compared to my other shirts which were w/o odor control). It kept me warm when temps were down, but wasn't too hot when the weather warmed up (low 80s max).
Reviewed by drumlinds from Frisco, CO on Wednesday, December 2, 2015When I first tried this shirt on, I thought "this is way too thin - there's no way it'll keep me warm." But I gave it a few more minutes and changed my mind. It felt as warm as my midweight Smartwool shirts, but a little thinner. The fit is very tight - I'm 5'8'/130 pounds and only had room for a thin tank top underneath wearing a size small. If you want to wear it over a real shirt, definitely size up! The length was good - it hit right around my hip. The fabric is not stretchy at all, and I wasn't really able to roll up the sleeves. Despite this, I had decided I was going to keep the shirt...until I found a hole in the seam on my forearm on the first day wearing it. (And I don't even have large forearms!) So now it's going back. A shirt that can't stand up to one day of casual wear definitely won't hold up outside. Very disappointing.
