Note: Measurements are in inches. Regular Fit garments are designed to be versatile and are not closely fitted for cross-seasonal use and multi-layering. Garments are contoured with room for movement. Slim Fit garments are designed to be worn closer to the body or over layers such as base-layers and light mid-layers. Close fitting for maximum performance when moving dynamically. Expedition garments are designed to be worn in colder conditions and over more layers of clothing than our other fits and as such are oversized slightly to allow for this.

I just love them!
Reviewed by hike bike cook from Seattle on Friday, September 25, 2015bought these for the husband, reminded him he owned them when it was time to pack for Denali. these passed the test with flying colors. after river crossings and rain, these dried faster than my Haglofs pants, while seeming as warm. they seemed to treat him pretty well and I'm quickly becoming a big fan of Rab.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by TXskier from Texas on Wednesday, August 19, 2015Have not worn these out on the trail yet but the fit is true to size and the material and workmanship look to be first rate. The weight is such that they can be worn anytime but summer, but I'd wear them in high alpine conditions even then in the Rockies, etc. They look like they will last a long time. Nice pants!
Reviewed by MTtrailrunner from MT on Thursday, August 13, 2015I haven't had a chance to put these through all their paces - I'll have to wait for winter for that. But the early look at these with a bit of hiking and camping was great. They are what I'd call a midweight pant. The extra reinforcement at the knees and backside isn't all that bomber, but enough to offer some help. The kick protection at the cuffs are a nice material, and the ability to cinch the ankle openings a bit is a must since these kind of flare a bit. I could see these being a great all around outdoor pant for a lot of years. Size seems right...I'm a 33 waist and the large (34 waist) has a bit of extra room, especially with the stretch. I could wear em without a belt, but probably would put a simple belt on if I were doing major activity. Then again, I get fatter in winter, so probably won't need a belt then! Inseam I think they list as 31" for a large, though I'd say mine are just a touch longer than that. I like the fit of the pants, not too tight, not too baggy, and the stretch is nice. I look forward to testing how water resistant they are...I haven't been out in so much as a drizzle, so can't comment on that. Nice pants from Rab.
