1.0 out of 5 stars. Such high hopes. Such poor performanceReviewed by Casey smith from Southern Appalachia. on Thursday, November 7, 2019In no time at all the DWR is rendered utterly ineffective and jacket sets out. What’s is more, I’ve had total membrane failure in the hood whereby water gets through. Won’t buy again. Wouldn’t recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Rab MyriadVerified Buyer Reviewed by kyle from Montana on Tuesday, October 30, 2018You would be beating the odds to find a higher quality jacket for this price. RAB makes top notch quality products, and this jacket has been excellent for me in everything from brutal wind and rain in AK to the back-country in the lower 48.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice jacket butVerified Buyer Reviewed by KevBo from NY on Tuesday, October 30, 2018Love the jacket, great RAB quality, looks good and that's why I'm keeping it. I just don't understand why the long sleeves? The jacket fits well in every area but the sleeves are clearly 2-3" too long. The Velcro on the cuffs allow me to wear it comfortably by pushing up the sleeves, but I don't get it. Like I said, I am keeping this one because it is the quality rain jacket I was looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars. First NeoShell jacketReviewed by Satrycon from NC on Tuesday, September 18, 2018The jacket is a basic shell with a clever internal pocket and a fairly nice hood. Not too sure if the zipper is waterproof, but have had no problems so far. It is sized about right, but feel it is a little too baggy. If you have a trim athletic build, it's like an oversized shapeless garbage bag.
I am not going to go over what others have described about the jacket, but rather talk about the material of this shell. I have used GoreTex (pro, xcr. paclite), eVent and others but this is by far the most breathable shell I have ever used (not as breathable as a softshell as claimed, though). I wish there were pit-zips, - in my opinion no shell is breathable enough to do away with pit-zips. The bottom line is that Neoshell is a fantastic hard shell, and does a remarkable job of achieving both the dual opposing features of waterproof and breathability, but you may still have to take your NeoShell jacket off for very heavy exertion. Note that being so breathable, it does sacrifice some windproofness in severe conditions, which most folks really will never experience. (I was on a trip to the northern tip of Iceland when I realized that it was less windproof than GoreTex Pro)
in short, if you are buying this jacket, buy it for the fabric foremost and style later. Enjoy! -

4.0 out of 5 stars. very long sleevesReviewed by Bill from NJ on Friday, April 6, 2018Product is very nice quality. However, it seems like they sized the sleeves for gorillas. I have other Rab jackets in the same size and the sleeves are perfectly normal. This one is about 3" longer than it needs to be. Since there's no elastic at the sleeve cuffs, it means the velcro needs to be opened and closed every time I put on and take off the jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent jacket all around.Verified Buyer Reviewed by XENOTAR from HONG KONG on Thursday, March 15, 2018The neoshell should be the most breathable option out there. I like the size and arrangement of the pockets.
