    The actual size can be judged be the pic. The price was the same as I saw in a store.

    I've used the clackin' rap for several years now, fishing with others using different baits, and this one out-produces the others, especially in the larger sizes. For a year or so Rapala made a size 9 which was fantastic for northerns and large bass. Unfortunately, that size was discontinued; however the size 8 is almost as effective. Too bad they seem to be stopping production of the entire line.

About Rapala

The story behind Rapala lures began in the 1930s when a Finnish angler named Lauri Rapala made an observation about fish behavior. After noticing that large fish were much more likely to consume small, injured fish, he set out to make a lure that mimicked the appearance of a distressed minnow. Using a shoemaker’s knife and sandpaper, Lauri whittled what would become the first Rapala fishing lure -- the now legendary Original Floating Rapala. Over the years, the Rapala name grew, and today Rapala is one of the world’s largest and most respected names in fishing lures.
