Just right to take along in case they are needed. Lightweight and they EASILY pack into their stuff sack. Bright navy blue, not another black or beige item. The waist is a bit tight, but that is more MY problem than the pants!

Bought these for sailing on cool days. Can't beat the price, they are compact but a little stiff. Somewhat short on me. I'm 5'9" and thin, bought a medium. I'll keep for sailing and hiking, but wouldn't wear anywhere else

I bought these to raft the Colorado River next spring. What a deal! I'm ~5'2 & 108 lb & the XS fit perfectly. Not super roomy, but certainly plenty to fit shorts or leggings underneath. The small wasn't huge, but about 1 inch too long, & I had to roll the waist so the bottoms didn't drag. I could have gone either way & been ok, but decided to keep the XS. They have snaps at the ankles & a zipper pocket in the back. The elastic waist was comfy.

I haven't been able to use them yet but I think they will work perfect! Exactly what I was looking for noninsulated rain pants that I could easily throw it in my backpack for hiking or taking the dog out for walk. I'm 5'5" usually wear a size 6 or 8 jeans so based on the size charts I got a medium. I think it'll work great, though best to be worn over leggings or close fitting jeans. I'm looking forward to trying them out!
