Redwing Most Comfortable Ever?

I have tried about every Red Wing boot made. I love the leather, the footbed, and the quality stitching. I just wish they were a tad more comfortable and did not take a year to break in. Once broken in they are awesome always. These Ice Cutters were the most comfortable pair of boots ever right out of the box. If they were not so pristine, I would wonder if somone had worn them for a year that weighed 90 pounds with not pressure fit marks in the footbed. The leather is the most unusual soft supple leather on any Red Wing I have ever owned. The wool lining is no joke. They also arrived with a removable red wool footbed to use for ice fishing or on the snow for extended periods. Otherwise I don't use the 1/8 inch wool footbed. Underneath the wool footbed is the normal all leather one piece solid heavy duty Red Wing footbed. I am super pleased. I really don't see how they are seconds, but as the price on these were higher than most seconds I was hoping I did not see any defect at all, and I did not.
