Bought this as an entry level reel for me to learn to fly fish. My husband who already fly fishes is very impressed with the quality for the money and the smoothness of the drag. Haven't yet put it to the test in true fishing action, but so far so good.

Comparing the listed features of the reel, with others, I found it to be an exceptional value. After adding 100 yards of backing and then the 5 wt line, it was perfect. I haven't tried this reel under stream conditions, but think it will work as advertised.
