    My mother was is just getting into fly fishing. This was her first outfit. She has already caught several fish on it and even a nice 5-6lb channel cat.

    I'm not sure how the one reviewer broke their rod twice. They must not have been casting properly. I have cast this rod with zero issues. My mother is not the best caster and has no problems. Even after tangling the rod up in branches, bouncing it in the rocks and several drops the rod has held up well.

    Got these for my kids. Unpacked the rod and took it out for a few casts. It does the job very well. Was making 40ft casts with ease. Great rod for the price. May pick up another just to leave at camp

    i ordered this and it came in the mail snapped. i returned it with no problem. got the same one and started casting snapped. very disappointed. i hope i can get a refund instead of store credit.
