This is a great pair of sandals. The straps are comfortable, and the base gives real support. Highly recommended.

I've loved Ecco sandals -- until I saw these. These were made to sell cheap. The heel strap has no adjustment. The toe strap has what I can only describe as a "faux adjustment" (it does nothing) and the middle strap can't be pulled snug. So, good luck getting it to fit. There's no "side piece" on the outside of the sandal, like on any other Ecco. They were obviously made to sell at discount places. And the "Compare at $130" that Sierra Trading Post claims on the ordering page? Well, the MSRP of these sandals is $100, and they sell all over for far less. So much for any savings...

I returned these and ordered a pair of Ecco Yucatan sandals from another retailer. They are the high-quality sandals I expected from Ecco, and have nothing in common with the Yucatan II model Sierra Trading is selling. Oh, and the GOOD sandals cost me $20 less, too!

If you like these sandals, you really haven't experienced the comfort and quality of the REAL Ecco line of sandals. No comparison.

I really like these sandals. I am a woman with feet wider than is happy with the women's version, so these fit much better. They are a different year (I assume) than the exact same sandal bought through another outlet. This one does not have the adjustable heel strap. If that matters to you, look around. The ones with the adjustable heel are edged in a dark color with no gold trim on the forefoot strap. The pair that was shipped to be had also seen a bit harder prior use than the other pair. Still ok.

I sent these back because there is no leather strap at the heel, only the neoprene and a twill tape. I didn't think this would wear very well. Why no leather strap??

I read the first two reviews which were 5-stars, and placed the order. I don't get it. The size runs big. I'm a solid 13 with a medium heel but the 13s feel like 14. The elastic in the back is comfortable, but creates a real loose feel. The front two straps are NOT really adjustable so they are loose too. If you try to tighten the straps beyond what the design permits, it feels uncomfortable and rubs the wrong way.

Honestly, I can see this sandal fitting and being comfortable for a very wide stocky foot, but this sandal should only be sold in stores. I do not see a size 12 remedying the situation. These are the first shoes I am sending back to STP for a refund rather than an exchange. I'd rather bite the cost of the return than to exchange them for another size. So order at your own risk.

I have become an Ecco shoe snob. The sandles are comfortable and look good. Arch is a little higher than most Ecco shoes
