Verified Buyer Reviewed by 3 DumbDutchmen from Pennsylvania on Thursday, July 7, 2016Got this vest in July, so I have not had a real chance to test it out. On initial inspection it appears to be well made. I am 5'10 185lbs I ordered the large and it fits the way I like a vest to fit, a little tighter, great got layering. It also came with a little stuff sack.
Reviewed by John C from World on Monday, May 16, 2016This is a lightweight vest (8.2oz in M), yet with a good amount of down fill (90g). The fit is close-ish, but that's the way I like it. BTW, I'm 5'8" 155lbs and the M suits me fine. One reviewer below mentioned about the swale and I do notice a bit of it in my vest, but it's not a deal breaker for me (but I did knock off 1 star in the review).
Reviewed by tacoman from earth on Sunday, April 24, 2016Good quality technical vest. One quirk: the cut is designed for men with large chests. There's extra material in the front that results in a swale or bump (inward or outward). You can see this a bit on the model photo in the upper sternum. It's a bit more pronounced on mine. Not sure if it's a deal breaker for me yet as the vest is otherwise a fine piece.
Note: if you watch the video of this vest, the bump doesn't really appear, so it could be a quality control issue and only effect some units.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rock from San Diego on Thursday, March 10, 2016Overall a nice product. As depicted in the photos, this vest fits close to the body. The arm holes are tight (to prevent loss of warmth) but this makes the vest feel a bit constricted for casual wear. Seems to run slightly small, but again, this may just be the result of it being designed to fit close to the body. Nice loft, good material. Great product if this is the fit and look you want or need.
