love this bag. attaches easily and securely to my rack. comes with 2 additional rack adapters. have not used it in the rain yet, but its construction and materials look to be very waterproof. holds a 15" laptop securely, though i do use 2 laptop covers to be extra safe. slots for credit cards, hook for keys, and other good sized pockets. best of all, it holds a change of clothes. and even an extra pair of shoes - but kind of tight (and heavy) with all of that in bag.

Really like this bag. Clips are very smooth. Keeps all my stuff organized. Stands up nicely so it's easy to get things in and out. Should have gotten this bag years ago instead of messing with cheaper bags.

I really like these bags, and I've thought this review over thoroughly. For someone like myself, a teacher, I love to keep papers organized and there's a slot for them. I also carry a laptop back and forth, and this bag has the perfect slot for this purpose. There's a plethora or smaller pockets too, including some slots for credit cards (?). The drawback to all of this organization is that the overall carry area is smaller. Therefore, don't plan on getting two of these if you want to carry something like groceries or kitchen sinks.

The fit is a bit new for me. They are at an angle and despite my thoughtfulness and investigative qualities (Ortlieb's site), there's no way to change them to a more ordinary set-up. However, not that I've conditioned myself, they are easy to put on and take off.

Another drawback is that the clips take a lot of finger strength. Being a rock climber, I have some of this, but if you want ease of opening, be ready to get a "squeezer" to develop strength in order to open this pannier.

Overall, the quality is excellent and they seem bombproof. Just know they may not be perfect so be ready to be flexible to enjoy a pretty darn good "office bag pannier."
