I am a little confused by the reviews after receiving my order. First, I wonder if some of these boots are wides. The pairs I ordered came in boxes that said model 602, not 302. I ordered multiple sizes mostly larger than what I would normally wear, based on all the reviews saying to order up. They were all too big and run wide. If you have a wider foot and need a high volume toe box, these might work for you. There will be some back in stock soon :(

The quality of these boots seem great. Well constructed and look nice. Unfortunately I had to return them because they were too wide. I feel like I have an average width foot, but my feet were swimming in these boots. If you have a wider foot or like to layer your socks, these might be perfect for you!

You end up paying $6.95 to return these boots, due to Sierra Trading Posts error! They also run really small. I ordered a size larger, they were still way too small.

i usually wear a 41, but after reading the reviews I purchased a 43. The 43 is still small on me, so I gave them to my daughter who is 1/2 size smaller than me. So good quality, but order 2-3 sizes larger than you usually would!

These are perfect boots for a beginner x country skier. Maybe for others too, I'm just writing from a beginner perspective. They're warm, comfy, fit great. I'd prefer them to be slightly higher, but easiest covered by gators.

I ordered two different sizes (my size, one up), and neither of them fit. So I had to return them both, and I was pretty frustrated at that point and wanted to get a move on with my cross-country skiing! I have a size 8 foot, ordered a 40 and then a 41, and neither of them fit my foot in the toe area. So I just ended up shopping locally, since we don't have a Sierra Trading Post nearby. I'm sure they are great if you find the right fit, but I wouldn't say they're true to size!

These are great boots for the price. Warm and comfortable. They do run about 1/2 size smaller, so order up.

I generally wear a 41 in Euro sizes (US women's 9.5-10) and I read the other reviews saying to size up and ordered a 43. I had to return it because it was very short and narrow through the toes, I got a 44 which fits great with thick socks. So my advice is to size up one or two sizes, if you like a wide toe box 2 sizes up is probably best for you. Aside from the sizing issues they feel very comfortable and warm, I haven't gone skiing in them yet but I think they'll do great and the price was a bonus.

My 13 yr old daughter used these boots on a 3-day hut-to-hut ski trip that involved skiing on groomed trails, ungroomed logging roads, and backcountry nordic touring. For the low price, they are a good all-purpose boot, with enough stability to provide adequate control in ungroomed conditions. Unlike many light duty boots, these have exposed laces and gaiter loops. With gaiters, her feet stayed relatively dry and warm. She was not bothered by the minimally cushioned insoles.
