Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kris P. from California on Monday, December 12, 2016I like the longer parka length of this jacket. The first time I wore it was a rainy day in San Francisco, and I was very impressed at how the rain beaded off of the fabric and kept me nice and dry. The brim of the hood has an adjustable metal edge, and kept the rain off of my glasses. The side pockets are generously sized, with plenty of room for gloves. The sleeves are a bit long for me (5'4", jacket size M), but with the velcro properly adjusted, they are quite comfortable.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sierra Snowshoe-er from San Jose on Thursday, November 17, 2016This is my review after receiving my jacket but not having worn it outside, yet. No rain and warm weather right now. I'll update after I've given it a good try outdoors.
I ordered the Iris color in US-size Medium. I am 5'4", 135lbs, and small on top bigger on bottom body-type. It fits great. Zips over my hips without being tight and not too baggy in the shoulders. The sleeves are long, cover my palms but not my fingers, which is perfect since sometimes when it's cold I like to tuck my hands inside. Using the velcro closures around the wrist allows me to cinch up tight if I want my hands out. The sleeves look exactly like the product photo online. The 'Iris' color combo is a fairly bright color on the body and a more subdued plum on the shoulders. A little brighter than I normally would wear but I'm really wearing it for practicality so I don't mind. The fabric both inside and outside feel a lot sturdier than my North Face jacket that I'm replacing (worn out and no longer waterproof.) I really wanted a jacket that had a dual zipper because I get hot but need the rain protection and need to be able to unzip from the bottom to cool off. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and am now praying for rain so I can really try it out.
