I bought two of these chairs and love them. I think I will buy two more. They are very sturdy and large. The only drawback is they are a little heavy but I don't plan on carrying them far.

They are very comfortable and I Love the arm rests. The bulk of the arm rests appear to be extruded aluminum with heavy duty plastic connectors. These arms plus the higher seat make it very easy to get out of the chair. The locking mechanisms on the arms really stiffen the chair when it is unfolded.

I love the insulated beverage holder. It's out of the way but not too far.

Overall the best folding chairs I have bought.

We have several of the standard Alps Chair and this one is just a bit wider which makes it more comfortable for me at the legs. It also has a locking mechanism for both the closed and open position which I think would be nice on all their chairs. It makes the chair very easy to move around and very secure when seated. It is fairly tall, ground to seat ,so my 29" legs dangle a bit but that is hardly the chair's fault!

This is the 2nd "riverside" I've purchased and couldn't be happier. The construction is very heavy duty and able to withstand normal wear & tear. My wife and I attend a lot of our grandchildren's sports,so it was very important to get a reliable folding chair. I weigh 250 so it withstands my almost daily use, and it really helps my wife who has arthritus The seat height is higher and with the solid chair arms there is no difficulty for her getting in or out of the chair. That's why I got a second one. It is a little heavier than most, but that is due to the larger components. Overall it's the best folding chair ever!

Bought this chair because of the wider seat and stronger frame. The chair is sturdy and comfortable!
