Arc'teryx Arc’teryx Atom AR Jacket - Insulated (For Men)
Closeouts. The "AR" in this Arc'teryx Atom AR jacket stands for "All Around," meaning it supplies top-of-the-line performance, freedom of movement and weather protection across a wide range of activities. The water-repellent, wind-resistant ripstop shell serves as your first barrier against the elements; the warm, low-bulk CoreLoft® insulation serves as the second.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Boston on Friday, December 18, 2015Gorgeous jacket, beautiful color (Poseidon), and great warmth/weight ratio. A size Medium both fits very well and allows me to fit a fleece and base layer underneath, and does this without appearing bulky. For reference I'm 5,9", 170lbs, 31" waist, 32/33 arms, 41 inch chest. The head doesn't cinch down terribly tight on my head, but fits over by bulky polystyrene climbing helmet with just barely enough room to spare. The length of the jacket allows me to tuck this under my harness without covering up the outside pockets, totally. Note that the cut of this jacket is Arc'teryx's athletic fit, compared to the Atom LT's trim fit, thus the AR is roomier than the LT. Lastly, this is also the jacket I wear as my "dress puffy" (I own a few), meaning it is attractive enough to fill the niche of a warm around town jacket that sheds lite rain easily, but that is not meant to be a waterproof rain jacket. Though the insulation will retain its insulating properties when wet, unlike down.
