I initially loved these boots for the same reason many of the other reviews are stating, however I give these boots only one star because of the poor durability of the design. The metal bar that switches the boots from walk to ski mode snapped mid-run, rendering the boots completely useless. This happened after only 15 days of mellow backcountry skiing. The metal bar snapped in half and pressed on the back of the boot liner (thankfully it did not break through and injure me).
I do not recommend these boots to anyone who skis in the backcountry.

These are awesome boots. The lightest 4 buckle boot on the market flex rating of 110. I lost about a pound from my other boots and notice a huge difference on the uphill. The down hill is excellent. They are able to drive my fat skis. I haven't molded the liners yet not sure I need to. I was going to purchase the Scarpa Mastrales and glad I gave these boots shot
